How is it possible that group B1A4 who has debuted for 6 years not waver?

B1A4 who debuted in year 2011 with Let's Fly made their name known through hit tracks like "Baby Goodnight", "Tried to Walk", "What's happening", "Lonely", "Solo Day". Especially, the group's leader writes and composes most of their songs, positioning and confirming themselves as talented group, doing clean and also emotional songs that only they can do, appealing to the popular masses.

Even though it has been more than 1 year since their last group activity when they released their 6th mini album "Sweet Girl", the members has all been active without rest, fighting their own battles in various areas like drama, variety, solo debut etc. Particularly, Jinyoung showed his reliable acting as an "Idol Actor" in KBS drama "Love in the Moonlight" which ended on 18th Oct, and Sandeul debuted with his first solo album "Stay as you are" on 4th Oct, sweeping #1 on various charts, and ascended to being a reliable singer you can listen to, making a complete group comeback even more anticipated.

On 20th Oct, Sandeul told Newens "Our plan is to come back within this year. I am honestly quite excited to see if we would receive more attention when we comeback thanks to Jinyoung."

"Jinyoung hyung did very well. As I watch the drama, I get very proud. Jinyoung really has a steel man's stamina. A steel man stamina that I cannot copy. Jinyoung hyung is also writing songs for the album this time round and I believe he will write good songs. Even as a member, I find it amazing how he can digest so many schedules and still looks good."

B1A4 did not have a scandal in the 5 years in this entertainment world filled with scandals that would make you frown, receiving love from the public and is a team that is growing as they come along till now. While on the roll, rather than having desires for ownself, the members are always like a family, having a heart warming caring heart for each other, rather than money, having a upright heart that pursue their dreams and music, and thanks to that, it is possible.

When asked the question "Through this solo album, Sandeul's position in B1A4 has increased.", Sandeul answered us "I have no idea. I have not thought of positioning such a thing", showing us a carefree smile. He continued, "The relationship between our members are really good. We never have things like bad-mouthing about each other. When I think about why, it is because we are not greedy about things like positioning in the team. When it is positioning, it is about money. However, because it is things that we like to do, so I feel that it is best to not talk about money. When I say don't talk about it, it doesn't mean we don't, but we only talk about it when we need to, on the part that we need to exactly. Also, in situations where we do not need to talk about positioning and money, why should we make it obvious and fight. We definitely do not like to talk about it and we don't like to talk about it."

"If I do well, we do well. I feel that if I did well, we did well too. This heart has been the same since debut till now. My thinking is that this time round Jinyoung's drama did well, in the future, B1A4 will also do well. Also, if my solo album went well, B1A4 will do well. At first, Baro did well in drama and other solo activities, as members, we feel proud of him. Idols often have crisis in their odd years like 3 years, 5 years, 7 years. This is B1A4's 6th year. However, thanks this such thinking, I feel that we will have no worries even when we head into our 7th year."

In this mini album, it consists of title track, "Stay as you are" made by Park Won, depicting a song he sings for some one he don't know but will meet in the future, as well as "Home", "My childhood story", "Ya! (feat Whee In)", "The road we walk together", a total of 5 songs. Sandeul participated in most of the track in lyrics writing, composing songs and revealed the story of the 25-year-old Sandeul. even though not naturally exciting, but the music clean and relatable music was gained more attention and was well received.

On the afternoon of 20th Oct, we met up with Sandeul and talked about the promotional activities this time round, his thoughts and his path as a singer.

Q: Its odd that you have debuted for 6 years and not have desires to debut solo.
A: Rather than saying that I have no desires for a solo debut, all these while B1A4 had a lot of activities, I also have individual activities like musical, web drama, so I did not think about having a solo album. Also, my thoughts about having a solo album would be that I would be writing and composing songs for all of the songs in the album. But I came to realise that it doesn't have to be this way. I listened to various advices from seniors like "A singer is someone who sings a good song.". So my thoughts changed a little. There are a lot of people around me who gave me help so I got a lot of advices, Within those songs that was written for me, I feel that there are definitely songs that I can relate to and would like to sing. My dream is to fill an album that is filled with songs that I write and compose personally. Even though I have thoughts of getting to that level, I feel that before that, I would have to let many people out there know of this singer called Sandeul and because of that I am releasing an album by listening to many advices so that I can become someone whom people can anticipate for.

Q: Last year, you started with King of Masked singer and this year you have 4 wins on Duet Song Festival, musical, even a solo debut, you had a really busy time. Do you have problems with your stamina?
A: It was an unbelievable schedule. Last year, before releasing our mini album "Sweet Girl", I did a musical, after that I did another musical. Then there was Duet Song Festival and now my solo album. At that point, I really thought that I was a steel man. I thought I could go until I really faint. Just a while ago, I had the greatest crisis on my stamina and I was taken aback. At that point of time I thought "I could get sick too". After that, I am now taking care of my throat and body delicately.

Q: In the album you said "What kind of singer would I be in the future, the closest to the answer would probably be a song called "In my 30s.". Why is it "In my 30s"?
A: I think of it as a song that I can't sing now. It is a prohibited song. The first sentence of the song is "Yet another day went far away." I feel that until I am able to feel the lyrics, I can never sing this song. Right now I am 25 years old, from what I see, my days are filled with things, I think about how to spend my days fruitfully. However, to say words like "Yet another day went far away", it is a question whether I can find that carefree heart. Even if it is not a carefree heart, until I can feel that kind of feelings, I would not be able to sing that song. That is way my first solo album, I want to fill it with the thoughts and worries that I have at the moment. The thoughts that I have since I was born, to loosen the things that I've left in my heart, those stifling things.

Q: You also jotted "Carrying several dreams, even though I do not know my final destination, I have arrived at my singer's dream." You look like you would be a singer for your entire life, is it possible for Sandeul to not be a singer at your final destination?
A: That is something I do not know. Of course, I became a singer because I like music, but in the later part I might also become a song writer. Even though I might end up doing something else instead of a singer, right now I want to be able to sing for a long time. I wrote this in my album because I am someone who still has a lot of dreams, up till now I am still dreaming dreams and chasing them positively, telling myself not to stop. In the future, I want to continue developing and be someone who can step forward.

Q: Please say a word to people who became fans through this album, or fans who has always been beside to cheer you on.
A: I hope you can listen to this album with an easy mind. I hope you can relate and reminisce as you listen to my songs. I would be happy if you have thought like "I experienced something like that too" or "I want to be someone like that".

Sandeul revealed to us his thoughts after promoting his solo album for 3 weeks. He stood on his last promotion stage for "Stay as you are" on the 22nd on MBC Show Music Core!

Through WM Entertainment, Sandeul said "It is a promotions that I can learn a lot from. It is my first time taking on a solo album I have some worries about how to pace myself and they singing method. At first I was very inexperienced but nearing the end, I think I am more sure about it. While telling and thinking about things like "This singing method doesn't seems to be right", "I guess I dont have to think about the tone of my voice or this and that", "I should pace myself and rest more", "It seems like working too hard isn't the answer", I also experienced it with my body, because my body will remember, I can be more expectant for my next album. 

He also added to "Look forward and continue to suppprt Sandeul who is constantly growing and always trying new things in the future. I am very thankful to those who listened to and gave love to 'Stay as you are' during this period. I love you Bana."

B1A4's Main Vocal Sandeul released his debut solo album on 4th Oct named "Stay as you are" and gained the name as "unpolluted ballad singer" as the next generation vocalist. The title song "Stay as you are" is a song that sang for an unknown lover whom he will meet in the future, a song which tells of Sandeul's story and music made by Park Won.

161024 B1A4's first solo person, big burden, I hope it gets remembered

"I hope to become someone who has infinite possibilities" 

First runner, first album. Boy group B1A4 member Sandeul concluded his first solo album "Stay as you are" promotions successfully. It is an album filled with Sandeul's special emotions, relying and touching people's heart which his simple vocals.

Sandeul gave all his energy in this album as he becomes a practice bug. While preparing and striving, even though he wasn't in the best of health, he ended his album promotions successfully and even made us anticipate his next album.

While he ended his promotions, he told OSEN, "My health is a lot better, I ended the promotions feeling thankful for the plenty of love that was given to my first solo album. I must say these thank you words." and "I think it was stressful and burdensome as a first runner. However, the things that I learnt was more than that stress that I was feeling. I think I learnt most about setting my pace right."

This album is the first solo album among B1A4's members, and it is also the first album in 6 years since debut. Sandeul said "The difficult point was that I do not have the members beside me.". On the ratings of this album, Sandeul answered "I want to give a 6 out of 10. The remaining 4 is my part that will need to be filled up."

Just by Sandeul's vocals alone, this album is a successful one. All these while, the different kind of vocal colours that he showed us on competition shows, it appealed yet differently this time round.

On this, Sandeul mentioned "If all these while the songs that I showed are powerful and needed me to stand with my feet wide apart, the solo album is a gentle and is a whispering image, even though sometimes calmly spitting it out, it is an image of Sandeul talking with full of emotions and various images of such." He also added "Thoughts like 'Sandeul is now growing', 'It will be an album to look forward to next time', 'I will look forward to his future days', I want to be remembered by people like that. I hope to be remembered as someone who can have countless possibilities.".

Clearly, he will grow even more in the future, it can be seen that we will be a more charming side of Sandeul in the future. Sandeul also assured. "I want to be a Sandeul, Lee Junghwan that is always growing." Lastly, Sandeul added "I have concluded my solo promotions well and we are aiming to released B1A4's album within this year. Boygroup B1A4 Sandeul revealed that he will be releasing his first solo album five years since debut.

On 23rd, WM Entertainment announced that Sandeul's first solo album will be released in early October and posted a picture. The title song for Sandeul's first solo album would be "Please stay this way for me" (unofficial english name), the type of music nor the concept has not yet been revealed. The curiousity has increased tremendously as Sandeul has received lots of attention as "Next generation vocalist".

This time round, he announced to the fans first about the news of his solo album. It adds more meaning to Sandeul who is a very great "fan lover" even on normal days. On 22nd night, Sandeul revealed on B1A4 official fancafe saying "Everyone, I actually... Bana! My solo album is coming out soon. Bana are you guys surprised? Actually, I want to let banas be the first to know about the news of my solo album so I came into the cafe." He also added "Even though I will feel uneasy because the members whom I have done activities with are not going to be by my side, my banas please take care of me! I want to quickly let you hear my song. Please be by my side no matter when".

Sandeul is the very first member from B1A4 to have a solo album and his vocal skills has already been acknowledged in the singing world. Last year through MBC "King of Masked Singer", he showed his abilities and this year he wrote new history on MBC "Duet Song Festival" and also emerged as the final winner for King of Kings battle and is acknowledged as the "Next generation vocalist".

Not only that, Sandeul explosive singing abilities also took hold of the musical world and is receiving attention as a "Musical Rookie".
