Was there a childhood memory associated to “Happy Days”?
-When I was around 4-5 years old, I raised a dog, its name was happy. I can’t remember how it got its name but coincidentally his name is related to today’s theme. When we were eaising Happy, I was always happy. I really liked it. We brought him to grandma’s house, be it playing with him at home or bringing him out for a walk, we had a lot of happy memories together.

During winter, what is the music that you want to listen to, and what food would you want to eat?
- The food that I want to eat would be tangerine! I really love tangerine so when winter comes, I have to eat it and I eat a lot of it. I feel that it is more delicious to eat tangerine in winter. The music that I want to listen to is of course “White Christmas”.

If you were to describe your members?
- Gongchan would be a pair of mittens. Shinwoo would be a muffler. Baro would either be a pair of shoes or boots. Jinyoung would be earmuffs. The members are the most dependable and take care of my body and my heart, so I compared them to the clothes I wear.

Is there anything that you must do when new year comes?
- Making plans for the year. The thought is to make new plans and go towards the direction of my new goals, but I feel that it doesn’t work out that well for me (laughs). Nevertheless, I feel that making plans for the year is important, relatively I still do it.

A winter date with Bana! Where and what you would like to do?
- At Hokkaido where we filmed our music video “White Miracle”. During our free time we went skiing and snowboarding, it was realy pretty and fun, so I wish to show it to Bana as well. I really love snowboarding that I have the full set of my board. I can teach those who cannot snowboard so that we can all have fun together. I started snowboarding in middle school so compared to skiing I’m more of a snowboarding person. I started because it looks cool but now I’m into it because it is fun.

Last year your singing skills on shows like King of Masked made topics. How did you feel going on those shows?
- I started feeling that singing with the mask didn’t make me nervous, “Fans do not know that it is me and I will be evaluated based on my voice only.” Because of that, I was really nervous. Even with that, honestly, after going onto the stage and it was fun and I grew. I was really thankful for the reactions of the audiences. Because I was very worried what kind of response will I get based on just my voice, I was really happy that I got good responses, and I told myself I cannot don’t work harder to show everyone a better side of me, a better stage.

GONGCHAN

A happy childhood memory that is associated to “Happy Days”?

- I’m quite sure it was sometime when I was about 6 years old. My family and grandparents went to the beach to play. I can’t remember exactly what I did but it was extremely fun.

When winter comes, what is the music you want to listen to, the food you want to eat?
- Up to Christmas, it would be “Jingle Bell”. After Christmas, it would be B1A4’s “Lonely” (laughs). In winter, I would want to eat things Korean food like loach soup. It is good for the body as it has a lot of nutrition.

If you were to describe your members?
- Sandeul would be a handwarmer. There’s a lot of different kinds of handwarmers, those that would warm up if you shake it, and those that would warm up if you press it. Because Sandeul is a people who will make a companion warm in many various ways.
Jinyoung would be tea. Gentle and careful. He is like tea, who thinks of others and act.
Baro is a heater. A different cheerfulness from the other members, someone who can give warmth to the whole place in one go.
Shinwoo is water heater. But a one which warm water wouldn’t come out immediately (laughs). If you shower during winter, it’s always cold water before the warm water starts coming out slowly, Shinwoo is like that. He first lie low, after spending some time and the relationship is deepen, you will know his kindness.

Is there anything that you must do when new year comes?
- I will think of things that I have done before, and reflect on how to improve for the new year.

A winter date with Bana! Where and what would you like to do?
- Hokkaido! We could either ski or snowboard together, or have a snow fight while walking on the street. If Bana says they can’t ski or snowboard well, what to do, I will give up. If we don’t do any other things, we can sit in a café and chat while drinking hot coffee.

Last year, your first acting role “Tasty love” you took on had a favourable response! How was the filming?
- It was fresh to be acting as a chef, and isn’t it interesting that in one production there were three female who acted as my partner. Acting in a set-up with women of the same age, older, and younger, I was able to experience many similar emotions. The drama’s setting was in Jeju Isand. Jinyoung’s drama “Warm and Cozy” was shot in Jeju and it so happened that it is related to cooking, so on that part he was able to give me some advice.

BARO

A happy childhood memory that is associated to “Happy Days”?
- When I was a child… Erm… When I was younger, I acted in a play, my parents came to watch me and after it ended, I received praises like “well done” and “it’s been hard on you”. I feel happy receiving praises after working hard. Even though it was in elementary school, but I can’t remember what I acted as… (laughs)

When winter comes, what is the music you want to listen to, the food you want to eat?
- When it comes it winter, it is of course Mariah Carey! After Christmas it would be our music (laughs). The food that I want to eat would be roasted sweet potato.

If you were to describe your members?
- Sandeul would be Christmas socks. (Sandeul: So that everyone could wear and step on me? (laughs)) Shinwoo would be a Christmas tree. Jinyoung would be a music box. Gongchan would be a sledge. I said everything with the image I have in mind (laughs).

Is there anything that you must do when new year comes?
- Come to think about it, there isn’t anything like that. There isn’t anything special that I would do. Also, if schedule allows, I think I would gather with the members, old friends and countdown. There isn’t a thing that I would do on my own.

A winter date with Bana! Where and what would you like to do?
- I want to go Hawaii Waikiki. Since winter is cold, I would like to go to somewhere warm to spend the time. Playing beach ball while wearing swim wear, playing games, if we are hungry, we would eat delicious food. Drinking cocktail nearby, since food made with prawns are famous there, garlic shrimp would be nice!

Acting and even variety, you were getting attention in every field. A production or film that you would like to act in in 2015?
- Last year, it was fun to be able to try out various kinds of variety especially. When I did a show on introducing the grandma and grandpa in the countryside a robot, it was a fresh concept, even though it was a pity that I had to draw out halfway due to the world tour. If I were to do another show, I would want to go youths over flower once again. Last time I did it with the members of “Reply 1994”, but this time round I would like to go with B1A4’s members. The destination doesn’t matter but it would be nice to go somewhere we have not been to.

JINYOUNG

A happy childhood memory that is associated to “Happy Days”?
- My parents love travelling so since young, I remembered we will travel to eveerywhere. Since it was when I was young, I can’t remember very well where we went, we frequently head to the beach to play and it was really fun.

When winter comes, what is the music you want to listen to, the food you want to eat?
- A song that I want to listen to is “All I want for Christmas is you”. Because I like the heart pounding feeling of Christmas, so I will listen to this song throughout the year. Really! I am not talking about before Christmas but I listen to it even in the month of May. The food I would like to eat would be meat dumplings and steamed bun.

If you were to describe your members?
- Shinwoo would be the socks to put the presents. He resembles a soft and round person. Sandeul would be a bell. Because he is cheerful, talkative and noisy (laughs). Baro would be a candy. Aren’t there those various kind of candies that would spurt out? That kind of image. The charming point whereby you wouldn’t know when he will fly. Gongchan would be a tree. He can become the will and also give support. I would be Santa Claus. Since my nickname is grandfather (laughs).

Is there anything that you must do when new year comes?
- There isn’t something that I must do, but if possible I would want to catch the first sunrise of the year. Pray as I watch the sunrise. In the past, since my house couldn’t see the sunrise, we have ever hiked up to the mountain to catch the sunrise. We have also watched it from the TV before.

A winter date with Bana! Where and what would you like to do?
- I want to go down and have a swim in a pile of snow. Though I said swimming, but I think it is more of moving around on the snow. Somehow there will be a girl that likes doing this sort of stuff isn’t it? (laughs). I want to wear a thick coat and lie down on the fluffy snow.

Recently the activities as an actor were remarkable. Do you put the experiences and viewpoint that you gain through acting and time into your composing?
- I received a lot of influence. I was able to experience the life of someone whom I can never live as through acting. The feeling felt in by character in every production, the way of life, can be experienced through seeing; it feels like I am gaining new experiences. Although, I have not tried writing lyrics based on an acting experience specifically, I can make use of the acting for the overall theme and mood.

A happy childhood memory that is associated to “Happy Days”?
- Erm… It was probably when I went travelling with my family? It was when I was really young so I can’t remember where we went but I remembered it was really fun.

When winter comes, what is the music you want to listen to, the food you want to eat?
- Ah, I know of a song that is really suitable for winter. It is called “Colorful” from our single album. Everyone knows about that right? (laughs) When I first heard this song, it gave me the feel of winter and I really liked it. From now onwards, please listen to this song a lot during winter. The thing I want to eat would be steamed bun.

If you were to describe your members?
- Jinyoung is Christmas. Christmas itself (laughs) I think he really likes Christmas. Every year when it is the season, he will listen to Christmas song and hum to the song, seems like he enjoys it. Baro would be a pencil. Since he writes passages quite well. The image came to me even though it is not an Christmas item. Gongchan would be a warm jacket. Sandeul would be a pair of shoe. (Sandeul: Hyung do you want to put me on?)

Is there anything that you must do when new year comes?
- I would plan for the new year and write down goals. Even though I cannot fulfil all of them, I think that it is important as it gives hopes. I don’t normally do things like changing the bedsheets or cleaning up. Compared to doing something to the appearance, I like facing the inner self.

A winter date with Bana! Where and what would you like to do?
- Since it is winter, probably the Ski slopes? When I was young I can ski quite well but I have recently started on snowboarding. Snowboarding is really fun and I wish to be able to board better. If the date is in Japan, it would be the hot spring since it is really famous. I would go to the hot spring and relax there.

In the first half of 2015, you did a musical with the hopes of the fans. How was it?
- I have wanted to do it since last time, to be able to perform in “Chess”, I was really happy. It became a very special experience. I feel that even right now, a part of my soul is still left there. It was a production and period that make me recall and remember occasionally. I’m very thankful for Japanese fans who came all the way to watch the musical. I am still in contact with Vixx’s Ken and the seniors and juniors whom I worked with for this show. We have a Kakao chatting group. If there is an act that I would like to try next, it would be nice if it is like the musical “All shook up” which Sandeul acted in.
