Jinyoung's character obtained the title of "Flower Boy Scholar" right from the start. 

With regards to that Jinyoung told us "I feel burdened. In general, period dramas are difficult, but because our head has to be suitable to act, I thought to myself, 'Do I look okay?' I was very worried. I have to live to the flower boy scholar term and I was worried."

"At first I was very concerned but from a certain point, I thought to myself 'I shouldn't be bothered about such stuffs, I should focus on my acting'".

In the drama, Kim Yoonseong is a flower scholar wearing vibrant hanboks. Jinyoung said "I like it. The special hanboks all came. Yoonseong is Chosun's early adaptor. He is a special character that suddenly he is with a binoculars, or is carrying a gun. Even though a serious person, he is Chosun's fashionista, I think it is such a concept."

"He wears a lot of vibrant clothes that others do not wear. It was really pretty. Even the gat-ggun (the string on the hat he wears) were paid attention to." explaining to us the different details of his outfit.

When asked about what is he similar to Yoonseong with, he answered saying "That I lilke machinery? I also anticipate what Yoonseong would bring out. When I saw that it was a gun, I was amazed. So this is how the olden days gun looks like. How nice would it be if I could have one. I would always wonder, what would be next."

The greatest praise was "Only Jinyoung could do this".

"Even though I know it might not be true but I feel happy. Honestly, Yoonseong is a character that many people can be isn't it? But I just feel happy. While watching and thinking that I melted in to that character, it makes me very happy."

Be it fashionista or problem solver, Kim Yoonseong got confirmed as both. Many people call be the professional spy. If I stay by the side and keep watch more, I would know all things. Fans said 'Yoonseong will hear the words you say at night, he will hear the words you say in the day too.' They call me the Seongseong resource guy. We asked about his goal before the drama starts and the results that came out after the drama ended "I tried hard to make it as close as possible. How did it went, I think the public knows best. I thought about 'I just tried my best' a lot. It is not an easy character. The director told me that it is the most difficult character. He told me it is hard to capture everything one by one, so think of it easily. Because I think of it easily, so I think I felt more comfortable."
